Recorded from the shipped Android build on the public server, upper screen on the left and the lower screen on the right, with the game's own music: creation, the walk out of Gillhearth, a cave spider, a hare fight with aimed strikes, harvesting the leg, and bonding it at camp.
Parts taken from creatures can be bonded onto your own body at camp or at a settlement's graft bench.
A professional bench guarantees a full-strength bond. A surgeon can also move your head onto a new body.
Your name, class, skills, possessions and memories stay with the head, while stats, senses and anatomy follow the body.
The Chitinborn, with four working arms, are playable.
Heads you can wear
Every head graft is animated as it looks when it's attached. These are a Mycelid wearing each one, assembled from the game's own frames.

Combinations
Every head and limb slot takes a graft on its own, so they mix freely. A few of the bodies you can build, drawn from the same layered frames the game uses:
Spider Head, Spider Fang arms, spider legs
Wolf Head, dusk-eye paws, dusk-eye hind legs
Hare Head on hare hind legs
Ant Head, one mantis raptor arm, carrion legs
Tenant Head, tenant arms, aphid legs
Spider Head, a wolf paw, a mantis raptor, one hare leg and one spider leg

What this is
A world that keeps its own books.
Deepwarren is a co-operative survival crawl through a fungal underworld. The creatures,
the factions and the roaming commanders run on a simulation that keeps going between your visits.
It remembers, it decays, it spreads, and it changes what waits for you next time.
01 · Ecosystem
Nothing waits for you
Creatures eat, hunt, graze, flee and dig on their own. A spider on the far side of the map keeps living while you walk back to camp.
02 · Bodies
Rebuild yourself
Head, torso and each limb can be replaced with parts taken from what you fight. Spider fangs, raptor forelimbs, hare hindlegs.
03 · Shared world
One world, eight people
Not eight copies of a map. What another player kills stays dead, and what they leave behind stays there.

Battle
Aim for the leg. It will aim for yours.
Fights are turn-based and physical. You pick which part to strike, and the creature does
the same. A part beaten to zero turns purple-black and stops working: a dead leg slows you, a dead arm weakens your
blows. It mends over time, or you can bandage it mid-fight. Losing does not always mean dying.
World display · battleA disabled leg. The Mycelid struck one Cave Spider leg until it gave out. It stays on the body, purple-black and useless, and the spider is slower for it. Combat never cuts a limb off.
A grafted Mycelid
SPORA, a Mycelid kindler, played on the live server. It harvested a Cave Spider arm and a Spore Hare leg, grafted them on at camp, then went back out to hunt.
World display · battleBorrowed limbs. The spider arm and the hare leg are drawn on the Mycelid's body in battle.
Lower displayThe same fight. The graft takes over the stats of the part it replaced. The hare went down in one round.Lower displayBody tab. Each part has its own health, grafts included.
Wearing a hare's head
Mushroom-folk survive losing their cap. SPORA took the head from a Spore Hare it had killed, cut off its own cap at camp and wore the hare's head in its place, then went looking for a Cave Spider. A worn head lets you pass as that creature's kin.
World display · battleA borrowed face. The hare's head sits where the cap was.
Lower displayRound two. The spider hits the torso for 10. SPORA won, but the spider's head was ruined in the fight and couldn't be taken.Lower displayBody tab. The Hare Head listed as a graft.
Wearing a spider's head
Same trick, better donor. SPORA killed a Cave Spider by striking its abdomen so the head came through intact, cut its own cap at camp again and grafted the spider's head on.
World display · battleSpider Head. A Mycelid wearing a Cave Spider's head faces another Cave Spider.Lower displayRound one. The Mycelid is at 38 of 56 HP and the spider is untouched.

Offer food, offer to back off, offer a service, or make a threat. A hungry creature may take the food and go.Lower displayTaken to the larder. Lose to a predator and it may drag you home to eat later. Sneak out, fight free, or wait.Lower displayLeft for dead. Some losses aren't the end. The creature walks off, and WAKE puts you back on your feet where you fell, hurt but alive. Fleeing also gets easier with each failed try, and the creature you escape can't pounce again straight away.

The passage opens and closes the way it does in the game. Creatures still drawn as placeholders are left out.

Straight answers
What works, and what we have not proven.
This is an early demo. We would rather tell you the limits than have you find them.
Eight seats, queueing and saves are enforced by the live server and tested with players joining, waiting and being admitted.
Eight-player load was measured on a local rig, not over the open internet. Four players over the real network came in at 247 ms against a 250 ms budget, so eight in the wild is not yet proven.
macOS is unverified. The Mac launcher exists but has never been run on a physical Mac.
A fresh Windows install has not been fully verified end to end.
The world runs on the developer's own PC. The demo is online when that machine is. There is no schedule or uptime promise.
If the host is down, you are told so. You are never left waiting in a queue for an offline world.
